At Your Service – All Day

This means that you and your guests will have background music customised to your own preferences throughout your wedding breakfast meal. Another benefit is that radio microphones are to hand, ensuring that the Best Man, Groom etc don’t have to nervously struggle to make themselves heard during their speeches.If you’re having group photographs taken on site then the microphones may also be of benefit to your photographer, as he or she is able to communicate which selection of family, and friends they need for the next photograph therefore helping to reduce the chance of the days timing schedule being wrecked.

Mood Lighting to Enhance Your Venue

Let me enrich your venues interior with state of the art custom coloured mood lighting which can bathe the venue in atmospheric lighting in your weddings own theme colours.

Will there be digital cameras ?

If your family and friends will be bringing digital cameras to your event we can duplicate the photos from their cameras memory cards LIVE at your event and add them to a continuously building slide show which will run above the disco throughout the night. Very atmospheric !That’s right ! You and your guests could be seeing pictures of your first dance, or you blowing out your candles, or awards being presented etc.. on screen just moments after they happen. You and your guests can share each others memories together, on-screen with the whole room.

Unique Perspectives!

Throughout my attendance at your event, I often see great photo opportunities which others don’t.  Whether it’s the lovely room layout, décor, floral arrangements, tabletop refinements, place setting enhancements, or party favours which you agonised for weeks over, or simply Uncle John doing the wildest dancing to his favourite song, I take many dozens of candid, impromptu, and utterly unique photos which can be displayed within seconds on the large video screen.  In a similar candid, ad-hoc way, I can capture your all-important First dance forever.  Copies of all these special memories can made available to you after the event too.

Professional Sound Solution

Having the right volume levels for everyone can be fraught with difficulties for older speaker systems. Some of your guests will enjoy themselves talking, chatting, catching up with relatives and distant friends alike, yet throughout the evening almost everyone will want to “strut their stuff” on the dancefloor without the music being prohibitively quiet, with guests hearing their feet clopping.Your entertainment will emanate from a state of the art speaker system which allows dynamic energy and volume on the dancefloor, whilst being “just right” for people halfway down the room, and beyond, to hear the music clearly, but not intrusively.

Professional and Versatile Lighting

No artificial smoke, strobe lighting or lasers are used in the show, therefore the lighting is suitable for you and all of your guests. Given even just a few minutes notice I can adjust the lightshow to be safe for any guests who suffer from Photo sensitive epilepsy, yet still providing impressive and dynamic ambiance throughout the event.

Your First Dance….. And More

Weeks before your event, I’ll prompt you for your choice of music for your all important (but optional of course) First Dance. I also welcome your own advance list of songs which you’d like me to play on the night.Equally as important at that time, let me know of any songs or styles of music which you most definitely do not want played on your day – For example you can tell me “No rapping or hip hop” or “Great Auntie Edna will burst into tears if any songs by Elvis are played”

NEW !! Your Extra Special First Dance

Would you like your first dance together to be extra special and uniquely personal? Imagine your most special photographs displayed in a romantic montage with your special song as its soundtrack.Engagement photographs, Holiday Photographs, Childrens Photos, Photos of those who can’t be with you on your big day but who you’d like to be remembered. It’s all possible. Also, if you’re feeling at all nervous of your first dance in front of everybody, your photo montage will mean that your guests aren’t watching your every move.

Making Things Happen

Whilst the evening entertainment is certainly geared towards celebration and relaxation, you may still want certain things to happen – For example, if you’re providing your guests with single-use cameras or having a guest-book or signing portrait, I’ll make several announcements to all throughout the evening, gently reminding everyone of those things which are important to you.

The “little’uns” and the “oldies”

Even the most hyperactive of children can have their excess energy nicely taken care of early on in the event by a few choice party games (with the opportunity to win some age-sensitive prizes provided by me).At the other end of the scale, I have a great selection of ballroom and strict tempo tracks for your guests who may enjoy a Waltz, Foxtrot or Tango etc.

Priced extremely competitively with all of the above benefits making your unrepeatable event one that you and your family and friends will remember. It’s worth noting also that I am not part of an agency or “gang” of DJs, so once you book me, you can be certain that it will definitely be no-one else other than me who performs for you and your guests rather than your booking being passed around between less experienced or under-equipped DJs.

If you’d like to discuss any part of your day, the music requirements of you and your guests, or would like to talk through ideas which you’ve got in mind; entertainment wise, I am more than happy to assist you by telephone or meet you at the venue (with their approval) to work with you on your plans, weeks, or months before the day.I’m sure that you’ll appreciate as much as I do that the evening entertainment is easily the longest single part of the day, with its success being experienced by every one of your guests so discussing your plans, thoughts, dreams and ideas together is a great way of ensuring that success.

Licenced, insured and well connected

Did you know that some entertainers can be turned away by venues if the right licenses are not held by the entertainer. I am happy to provide your venue with supporting paperwork for my £10million Public Liability Insurance, Portable Appliance Testing Paperwork and very importantly the recently introduced Pro-Dub licence. I am also a long-term and verifiable member of both The National Association of DJs (NADJ), and of The South East DJs Association (SEDA).

April & James Wedding Anniversary – Summer 2013

“I am writing to you on behalf of the Residents & Activities Team here at Greathouse Care Home to say a big “Thank you” for everything you did at The Angel Hotel on Sunday 1st December (2013) to make our residents Christmas Party a truly memorable, special, fabulous one. You were wonderful, fun, approachable, but most of all I missed the One Direction songs…Our residents are so happy and are still going on about it and want us to organise it again for next year. .
